I like to call this one the stomach-soother smoothie. Whenever I feel, bloated or my tummy in general feels a little upset- this is my go-to remedy. Of course, none of the above symptoms are required if want to have this fruity, minty smoothie because it's just plain delicious. It's creamy, fruity, with a hint of mint to add an extra refreshing flavor. Better yet? There's some spinach thrown in to give it a little extra green power.
1 1/2 sliced and frozen bananas
1/4 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt
1 tbs of chia seeds
Dash of cinnamon
1 large hand full of baby spinach
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Water or almond milk as needed
Additional blueberries and unsweetened shredded coconut for topping
Add all ingredients (except for toppings) into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding water or almond milk as needed to reach desired consistency, you may have to stop to scrape sides of the blender with a spatula. Pour into a bowl and add toppings.
