brownie batter smoothie bowl

brownie batter top view

This smoothie is a game changer. I'm not kidding when I called it a "brownie batter" smoothie bowl. It literally tastes like a brownie in smoothie form. Growing up, my mom used to make the best fudgey and chocolatey brownies with coconut, pecans, and extra chocolate chips on top. Despite that I am now gluten free and try to cut back on refined sugars and animal fats, I still crave those brownies, so I would definitely say that my mom's brownies are the source of inspiration for this recipe.

If you are a (dark) chocaholic, then I promise that you will love this smoothie bowl- it's rich, creamy, and dreamy. And the best part? It's made with all whole ingredients and no refined sugars! You may be skeptical about the addition of black beans to this recipe, but I'm telling you, they are what make this recipe, plus they add extra protein and fiber. You can't lose! But anyways, I will let the pictures and the recipe speak for itself. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.
