This is one of my all time favorite go-to snacks when I am craving something sweet and salty. I love eating freshly cut apples with this PB yogurt dip, but there are so many other things to pair it with. If I wasn't gluten free, I'd imagine this dip would be delicious spread over a warmly toasted bagel (*crying*). You might try this with other fruits like bananas or strawberries. This would also be insanely good as an oatmeal topping. The possibilities are endless. This is such a simple recipe that can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes, the perfect snack that has healthy fats, protein, and natural sugars to keep you fueled throughout the day!
- 2 heaping TBS of non-fat plain greek yogurt
- 1 TBS of natural peanut butter
- 1 tsp of ground flax seed (optional)
- Cinnamon to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth and creamy, adding as much or little cinnamon as you like. Adjust peanut butter or yogurt to reach desired thickness. Store in the fridge for later, or just eat it right a way with apple slices like I do.
